The staff and Board are supported by a range of expert committees and special interest groups. Branches of the ASA, run by volunteers, are widely spread across Australia and New Zealand.

Special Interest Group Committees (SIG committees)
The ASA’s Special Interest Groups (SIGs) are a vital link to the disciplines of sonography and other key aspects, including research and sonographer health and wellbeing.
Our network of SIGs have a leadership who work with the association on learning opportunities including the international conference.

Branch Committees
The ASA has active branches in all Australian states and territories, and in New Zealand and play an important role in the ASA. Our growing network of regional branches delivers education and networking opportunities, as well as providing local connections and feedback to the ASA on local issues.
